Dissolution is an experiment in sound and texture, recorded deep in the pandemic winter, a collection of 10 lilting guitar-and-loop driven compositions. It invites listeners to drift away in a sea of echoes, delay, and feedback that alternate between cascading tones and decaying loops with more traditionally structured songs that weave between an array of moods and colors. It was recorded through a hybrid of analog and digital techniques that showcase Klirs’ sensibilities: ambient drones and post-rock crescendos amid a wall of guitar hiss and shimmering synths. carniklirs.bandcamp.com

Ejjing emerged from the bleakest stretch of the long pandemic winter. Emma Cleveland and Jonathan Williger spent January of 2021 making droning sounds from whatever was at hand - from organ, violin and cello to spatulas, tin whistles, and vibrators.
