Learn how to repair outdoor clothing and equipment in this specialised fabric repair session. We will explore different techniques for working with outdoor fabrics using machine and hand sewing skills.
Repair something you want to fix, or learn the basics.
If you have something specific you want to repair, please let us know in advance and bring the item with you.
You can bring your own sewing machine, if you have one.
This session will be delivered by Lauren from Iron Keld Repair and Design.
This workshop is running as part of The Rebuild Site CIC Summer 2024 Events Programme. See our website for more information.
This class will be repeated twice in our summer programme, so you have two date options to choose from.
- These workshops are aimed at adults. You will need to be 18 or over to attend.
- Unless otherwise specified, all materials will be provided by us.
- Refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
- Due to the content of some of our activities, you will be required to undertake a Health and Safety briefing before the start of the session. You may be required to wear PPE, such as face shields and gloves. These will be provided by us.
- Please wear weather and activity appropriate clothing and footwear when visiting us.
