The only outdoor cinema of its kind in the UK; the Frontier Sapiens Film Festival showcases a selection of the world's best adventure, cultural and environmental films from around the globe.
Returning to Brighton in 2024 with a BRAND NEW LINE-UP OF FILMS, join us for an evening of captivating, thought-provoking short films featuring inspiring stories of human endeavour. Travel the globe with some of the world’s best filmmakers, and experience extraordinary human spirit and wild adventures on the big screen.
Get your friends together, grab your picnic, and prepare for an incredible evening of films under the stars!
THE 2024 FILM LINE-UP WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN MAY 2024. BUT FOR AN IDEA OF WHAT TO EXPECT, TAKE A LOOK AT OUR 2023 FILM LINE-UP HERE.
📍 The event will take place in the beautiful One Garden Brighton walled garden.
⌚ Films start at 8pm (access to the walled garden from 7:30pm). A collection of short films over the course of the evening. Event ends no later than 10:30pm.
🌙 Please note, if it is a particularly bright evening, the film start time may be delayed by up to 15 minutes.
🍿 A BBQ and outdoor bar will be available from the One Garden Brighton team all evening. There is also the opportunity to purchase a pre-event meal (please contact the venue to book).
🎬 There may be a small amount of swearing in some of the films. The films are recommended for 12+.
🔦 We encourage all attendees to bring their own torch / flashlight to use when exiting the venue.
🦮 Dogs are allowed at this event, but we ask that they be kept on a lead at all times and kept quiet throughout the screening.
☀️ The screening will continue come rain or come shine, so please dress accordingly! If unsafe weather is forecast (high winds / thunder and lightning), the event will be rescheduled or cancelled at the discretion of the event organiser. If cancelled, a full refund will be issued to all ticket buyers.
🪑 Ticket purchase does NOT include seating, but you are welcome to bring your own blankets, cushions or camping chairs to enjoy the show. Alternatively, you can reserve a bench seat at the time of ticket purchase.
🚗 Pay & Display parking is available at the venue.
🎫 Please ensure you bring your e-ticket with you (on your phone or as a paper ticket). If you have purchased a concession ticket, please arrive with proof of eligibility.
