Out of the Shadows is an event which unites those who have been affected by suicide.This is one of the most special events in the Lifeline WA calendar, allowing people from all walks of life to come together and remember their loved ones. We walk together because no one should have to walk through the darkness alone.
We hope as the sun rises, you feel a unique sense of fellowship with those who have been similarly affected.
Our walk will commence at the Wadjuk carpark in Kings Park at 5.30am. After a Welcome to Country, we'll walk through the Botanical Gardens to finish at sunrise with tea, coffee and muffins at the Botanical Cafe at 6.30am.
Free coffee will be provided for guests before the event. Please arrive early to ensure you have time to order. If you have your own reusable coffee cup, we would appreciate it if you could bring it along.
As you walk, there will be gentle music and time for reflection. We would love to see you there. Please register via the Humanitix link if you're interested.
