Followed by a one-mile community walk

💙 Why We Walk
Curran Contracting proudly partners with Curran Group for the third consecutive year to host the AFSP Out of the Darkness Community Walk. In 2024, our event became the second-largest walk in Illinois — a testament to the strength and heart of this community.
We walk because suicide is the second leading cause of death among men in the construction industry. This is personal. It affects our friends, coworkers, and families. By walking together, we show our support, raise awareness, and help break the stigma surrounding mental health in our industry and beyond.
All funds raised benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Illinois Chapter, directly supporting local education, programming, and survivor support resources.
