Out of Office returns on Thursday 18 July… and this time, we’re doing things a little differently!
In celebration of Northern Pride, we are collaborating with Pride in Leadership – a fellow LGBTQ+ community organisation focused on raising the visibility of business leaders and fostering connections across industry.
Expect the usual friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of opportunity to connect with fellow professional from a diverse range of business sectors. But to kick off the event, Pride in Leadership’s Director Claire Ebrey will lead a discussion with Nick Forbes CBE, former leader of Newcastle City Council, member of the Shadow Cabinet, and one of the most prominent LGBTQ+ political leaders in the UK. He’ll share his story with attendees and take questions before we break into networking, mingling, and enjoying great conversation for the rest of the evening.
Worried about attending alone? Don't be! We make sure Out of Office is the ideal place to step out of your comfort zone, even if you consider yourself a bit on the shy side. We guarantee that there will always be someone ready to introduce you to new people and make you feel right at home.
Host sponsors are providing the venue and refreshments, alongside our usual sponsor . This means this event is free to attend. For those wishing to network beyond 9pm, we’ll find a nearby bar in Newcastle City Centre to continue the conversations.
