OUT of ABINGDON create soulful, acoustic, lounge music. Warwick Hargreaves and Tina Fullerton’s stripped-back guitar, double bass, and vocal blend is a grooving, soothing, sonic elixir in amongst a bustling soundscape.
After playing and touring extensively for over 14 years, the duo made the move into touring and living full-time in their converted house truck, sharing their music with audiences far and wide.
With numerous tours of Europe and the UK playing jazz clubs in Edinburgh, Berlin, and Paris they’ve also become darlings of the Australian East Coast festival and venue circuit, building a loyal following. Festival highlights include Savannah in the Round, Brisbane Festival, Brisbane International Jazz, Wallaby Creek Music, Wintermoon, Northern Australia Festival of Arts, Black Mountain Unplugged, Kiama Jazz & Blues, Illawarra Folk, Bendigo Blues & Roots, St Kilda Blues, and Cygnet Folk Festival.
The diversity of festivals and venues where they are welcomed reflects the breadth of OUT of ABINGDON’s musical appeal. With influences ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Björk, to jazz and contemporary greats, OoA are not easy to pin to a genre but their musicianship and genuine love of playing always shine.
