The Trans Lifeline Benefit 🏳️⚧️ is an event that aims to fundraise money for the - a 501(c)(3) org.
Trans Lifeline is an organization which provides life-saving mental health care and support! It has done so by divesting from police for involuntary interventions, instead training and employing mental health professionals to de-escalate moments of mental crisis.
Because it divests from using the police force for involuntary interventions, as well as specifically mentions its aim to help trans and queer youths, they have found unique fundraising challenges. Also, with the coming administration we expect most if not all government aid to Trans Lifeline to end indefinitely.
As such we want to work together to help close these funding gaps! 💜
The event will showcase drag queen and king 👑 performances and all proceeds from ticket sales and additional donations will be given to Trans Lifeline.
