Our Voices, Ourselves Youth Hip Hop Dance

Are you ready to move?

Youth event from ages 8-17. Come explore creative improvised dance workshops with Kevin Shazam Li and Lance Lim. In this workshop we will explore modern themes including street dance styles, hip hop. All bodies are welcomed to participate. We learn how to warm up, specific techniques, and through improvisation, and creative exploration, we end with a cypher and an opportunity to join the community dance party right after the workshop!Participants are encouraged to wear loose fitting clothing that enables them to move freely, and appropriate footwear (eg. sneakers, runners). Registration is limited to 20. And waivers will be available onsite for photos, video release and safety purposes.
