Join us for a service in honor of William A. Morris Jr. for the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Wagner College alumnus William Morris Jr., 369th Regiment, U.S. Army, fought at D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge, and in other military confrontations with the Nazis.
For the 80th anniversary of D-Day in May 2024, over 50 Wagner students paid homage to the service of African-American soldiers and sang in the American Cemetery at Normandy, France.
William Morris' daughter Dolores lays a wreath in Normandy accompanied by Wagner Prof. Thomas Juneau, grandson of a WWII veteran and student Alyssa Slaven, great-granddaughter of a WWIl veteran.
