On June 28 Join us at the MAC to celebrate and learn from Our Stories. Experience Spokane's rich history from the perspective of members of the Black community. We'll have lots of activities for all, plus free admission to the museum, thanks to the generous support of Innovia Foundation.
Learn more about community and family histories, including those of some of Spokane's Black Pioneers, in historic Campbell House.
Watch documentaries and youth-created films in the auditorium.
There will be an all-day drop-in art workshop in the Create Space for the whole family.
DJ Rosethrow will be spinning Motown and old-school rap outside on the museum's lawn.
About the program:
Celebrate the stories that shape Spokane's history and community. Our Stories is an engaging and educational program designed to celebrate the rich tapestry of communities in our region. The MAC collaborates with members from the highlighted community to create a fun and memorable day of activities for all ages and interest levels.
