About this Event
Join us for the second day of our pivotal event, focusing on the role of higher education in Africa's development. This day will be dedicated to memebrs of Strathclyde engaging with our African partners through interactive sessions and strategic discussions aimed at shaping the future of our collaborations.
The day will begin with the Sustainable Futures Game, an interactive session led by Professor Emma Macdonald, bringing together our African partners and Strathclyde staff to explore mutual interests and challenges from diverse perspectives. This will be followed by a facilitated session, focusing on developing international partner engagement principles for the University of Strathclyde, where your input will help inform the development of Strathclyde’s Africa Strategy.
In the afternoon, participants will break out into focused sessions on key areas of interest such as innovation, entrepreneurship, health, sustainable transport, renewable energy, law and governance, and future cities. These sessions will provide an opportunity for participants to share their work, explore potential collaborations, and contribute to the future direction of our partnerships.
This day will not only serve as a platform for discussing challenges and opportunities but will also reaffirm our commitment to equitable partnerships, helping to shape a shared and impactful future.
