Book you spot here: https://app.tickettailor.com/events/charltonkingsparishcouncil/1841239The Guardians of the River Chelt have been working hard to monitor The Chelt's health and care for the river environment. With the help of local volunteers and Geography staff and students at the University of Gloucestershire, they’ve been carrying out regular water quality checks right here in our parish.
On Thursday 16th October, the Guardians will be hosting a special event to share:
-The results of recent water quality testing
-What this tells us about the health of the River Chelt
-How we, as a community, can get involved
This is a fantastic chance to learn more about the River Chelt - a vital part of our local landscape and wildlife habitat - and to hear how Charlton Kings residents are already playing their part in looking after it.
📅 Date: Thursday 16th October
📍 Location: Stanton Hall, Charlton Kings
🕖 Time: 7.30 - 9pm
Everyone is welcome - come along to find out more and be part of the conversation about the future of our river.
