Hi, our next Men’s Walk & Talk will be next Sat 22 Nov 14:00. Meeting at Whalley train station (location below using what3words)THE ROUTE:
This is a circular walk starting from Whalley train station and takes us through pastureland and country lanes. From the train station we follow Broad Lane for a short distance before turn right onto Riddings Lane. After crossing beneath the A59 road we enter pastureland and continue North West behind Calderstones and head for Whalley Moor Woodland. From there we continue East toward the main Whalley-Mitton road where there is another footpath leading to Whalley Community Forest. It is only a short walk past the cricket field back to the train station.
Please Note:
Wear suitable footwear and clothing.
Bad weather will not lead to cancellation, unless in the case of a storm or icy conditions.
Please bring drinking water, especially on warm / hot days
Care needed on any road section, you are responsible for yourself when crossing any road.
No dogs allowed.
