This exciting six-week course will look at mining, the railway and shipbuilding in our region alongside reading “Our John Willie”, a heart-warming story by Catherine Cookson.We will create a history lap book, complete a study guide on the book, listen to/sing some local songs, read some local myths and legends and cook some local dishes, with lots of fun along the way.
