🎥 20-21 Visual Arts Centre and North Lincolnshire Libraries have partnered with Tenfoot Dance Company and Laramedia to produce an original dance performance film, and exhibition. Rooted in community collaboration, the project draws on stories and experiences from a diverse range of voices across the region.🎞️Join them for the premiere screening of Then and Now, projected on a grand scale onto the exterior of Scunthorpe Central Library in Church Square, Scunthorpe.
🎶Inside the library you will find live performances of classic songs from Elsie Diamond, poetry inspired by the theme of Our Freedom, and you can even join in with a bit of dancing! You will become one of the first to explore the accompanying exhibition housed inside the train station set used to film Then and Now.
Experience an inspiring celebration of creativity, reflection, and community. On a day of remembrance, you will have an evening to remember.
☕Wrap up warm for this unmissable outdoor screening. Refreshments, including hot drinks and light snacks, will be available for purchase outside. Free Entry, no booking required.
The exhibition runs until 31 January 2026. Opening times – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 1pm
