Nabeela’s poetry is variously passionate, affectionate, fierce, and tender, but always seasoned with a good measure of wry humour. This is an event not to be missed!
Amongst her many activities, Nabeela hosts Bradford Writes and has featured on BBC Radio 4. She’s delivered two bilingual anthologies for Bradford 2025 City of Culture, in which she’s a leading light. Nabeela's debut collection, ‘From Kashmir to Yorkshire’, was launched earlier this year and signed copies will be available to buy on the night.
There will be our usual open-mic readaround too, so please bring some of your own poetry to share.
