About this Event
Hosted at the Getty Center in Los Angeles and supported by Getty, the Fall 2025 Otis College Report on the Creative Economy launch event will celebrate the release of the College's latest research on L.A.’s nonprofit arts sector, including an unveiling of our new Creative Nonprofit Dashboard. The event will feature:
- Networking reception with small bites and refreshments
- Presentation of new research findings on the nonprofit arts sector in L.A. and a walkthrough of the new Creative Nonprofit Dashboard
- Panel discussion, “Creative Capital: Fueling the Next Wave of L.A.’s Nonprofit Arts Growth,” followed by an audience Q&A
Developed in partnership with Westwood Economics & Planning Associates, the Fall report maps the size and scope of L.A.’s nonprofit arts industry, explores current trends and challenges, and offers insights to help inform policy that supports creative nonprofits. The interactive Creative Nonprofit Dashboard, a new feature of the Otis Creative Economy Dashboard, will provide detailed, county-level data on the size, financial health, and growth of California’s creative nonprofit sector across seven key service categories.
