THE SHOW:
Brooke Wyeth returns home to Palm Springs after a six-year absence to celebrate Christmas with her parents, her brother, and her aunt. Brooke announces that she is about to publish a memoir dredging up a pivotal and tragic event in the family’s history—a wound they don’t want reopened. In effect, she draws a line in the sand and dares them all to cross it.
AVAILABLE ROLES:
-Lyman Wyeth: The family patriarch, a former movie actor and ambassador during the Reagan administration.
-Polly Wyeth: The matriarch, a retired screenwriter and former co-writer with her sister, Silda.
-Brooke Wyeth: A novelist, the family's liberal daughter, who returns home to reveal a damaging family secret in her memoir.
-Trip Wyeth: Brooke's brother and a producer of a popular reality television show.
-Silda: Polly's sister and the family's liberal aunt, an alcoholic who has just returned from rehab and encourages Brooke to publish her memoir.
