Welcome to the 6th Annual Post-Turkey Day Dipsos Blowout! Host Dipsos was a Des Moines-based rock band that played around central Iowa c. 1989-91. Raw and loud, bloozy and boozy, Marshalls and Gibsons were and are the deal. We've reconvened in recent autumns to throw this party.

Raucous trio The Other Brothers is one of Des Moines' most sizzling bands. The sound is a modern take on 70’s rock and roll; bottom heavy bass, big drums, howling harmonicas and red hot guitar. Songs about love and life on the open road, with the throttle wide open will close out our night.

And though first band 10 Watt Robot is relatively newer, the respective band members have a legacy of Midwest rock and roll provenance including key roles in, amongst others, Movable Feast, Squidboy, SuperVolt, and Why Make Clocks. Perhaps most notably, singer/guitarist Mike Sangster was a founding member and songwriter of two Iowa stalwarts: The Hollowmen (Pravda Records), and Head Candy (Link Records & MTV video artists).
