During the opening of ANZAC Cottage in Mount Hawthorn many of the dignitaries recommended a continuation of this project to provide homes for returned servicemen and/or their families. On June 27 2021 from 1:30 to 4pm the Friends of ANZAC Cottage Inc invite you to learn more about these other “ANZAC” cottages that were built both in Western Australia and in other states. There will be a presentation at 2:30 pm on this day.
ANZAC Cottage is located at 38 Kalgoorlie Street Mount Hawthorn and entry is by donation. Afternoon tea is available by donation along with icecreams at reduced prices. Bookings are not necessary and more information can be obtained by emailing Anne at [email protected] or by calling 0411 44 55 82.
