As the sun sets, head to Post Office Square for the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting. Belfastians will begin gathering around the tree at sunset. Attendees will enjoy cookies provided by the Waldo County Technical Center. Shortly after dark, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive on a Belfast Fire Department engine to greet the hundreds of eager children and adults. We will countdown from 10 till the tree lights magically come on.
