It's been 84- no, 26 years since we started Otafest, and this year we are on Mother's Day! To celebrate this we are supporting Mamas for Mama's as our Charity this year and we are very excited to be working with them!

It's THAT time again! Let's celebrate Japanese and Video Game pop culture, hang out with your friends, eat some chili dogs (I don't know if there's chili dogs but pls look and tell us where we can get some!), and show of your sick as heck cosplays, artwork, and more!
Because this is Mother's Day, bring your mom* with you! Get them hooked on anime!!!!!!! DO IT! DO IT NOW!
*including mom, grandmom, dragmom, soon-to-be-mom, dad mom, almost mom, cool aunt, not-so-cool-aunt, i-hope-you-get-the-point-mom, and all other mom-identifying peeps!

Mamas for Mamas is a grassroots organization that focuses on poverty alleviation for caregivers and children across Canada! The Calgary branch of Mamas for Mamas provides support to families in need within our city by connecting them with resources and assistance. Please help us support Mamas for Mamas by participating in our charity initiatives!
Otafest offers a great variety of charity initiatives this year!
Keep an eye out for our donation boxes, check out the secret gym at Pokémon League, participate in the Gunpla Hangar events, get a commission from our Sketch Drive, snap a photo with our lovely Maids and handsome Butlers at Maid and Butler cafe and stop by our Charity Auction.
