About this Event
Join us for a beach cleanup and help protect our beautiful coastline! Not only will you be removing trash, but Surfrider can use the data collected to advocate for laws that reduce pollution at its source.
Meeting Spot: Look for us on the sand by Lifeguard Tower 20 (map: link here: https://tinyurl.com/rmptzfa6). Parking is free along the road.
Everyone is welcome. Parents, please keep an eye on your children. Portable restrooms are available on-site. Feel free to bring your own bottled water to stay hydrated throughout the day. Please dress for the weather in closed-toe shoes only.
What to Bring:
- We'll have cleanup supplies, but feel free to bring your own gloves, trash grabbers, and a reusable bag (supplies are sometimes limited).
- Stay hydrated! Bring a reusable water bottle to avoid single-use plastics. We're a waste-free event, so avoid bringing single-use food or drinks.
Waivers: Already registered online? You're good to go! Bringing guests? They can register upon arrival. Bringing unregistered guests? No problem! They can sign the waiver and register when they check in. Just scan the QR code at our Surfrider station when you arrive. This is separate from registration and is especially important if you want verification of your community service hours.
