About this Event
Organic Growers Club Sunday Skool at the Farm
OSU's Organic Growers Club was established to provide students with an opportunity to gain practical experience growing and marketing plants. Join us on Sunday for Sunday Skool where we work the land, learn about organic gardening and make connections with one another. It is a great way to learn about the program, get tips on organic gardening, meet the students that run the farm and learn about the Beaver Classic organic produce CSA boxes.
Portable restrooms are available on-site. Feel free to bring your own bottled water to stay hydrated throughout the day. Please dress for the weather in closed-toe shoes only.
What to bring:
- Bring gardening gloves and your favorite gardening hand-tools if you have one
- Dress for the weather and gardening activities - a hat is always a great idea!
When you arrive, introduce yourself to the group and let folks know you heard about the volunteer opportunity through OSU Days of Service.
Short on time but want to give back to the farm? As little as $5 goes a long way! Donate today as part of Dam Proud Day and give directly to the farm. Give today!
