Learn how bones adapt, why strength matters, and how safe loading builds bone health with osteoporosis, without fear.
About this Event

Osteoporosis is one of those diagnoses most people don’t think about, until suddenly they’re faced with it and feel overwhelmed, scared, and unsure what’s safe.

The intuitive reaction is often to avoid stress, avoid pushing the body, and move more cautiously.

But the reality is the opposite.

Bones need stress.

They need loading, resistance, and the right kinds of challenge to stay strong.

The problem isn’t that people shouldn’t exercise, it’s that they don’t always understand:

  • How bones actually adapt
  • What causes bone loss
  • What it really takes to injure bone
  • How to stress bones safely and intentionally

Without that understanding, fear takes over, and fear often leads to doing less, which accelerates the problem.

That’s why we’re bringing in Dr. Nick Trubee for a 1-hour educational lecture designed specifically to help our clients understand the why behind what they’re doing in the gym, and how it directly impacts their bone health.

WHO IS DR. TRUBEE?

Dr. Nick Trubee is an Exercise Physiologist (PhD, University of Kentucky) and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with over 17 years of experience. A former university professor, he now coaches clients online with a focus on osteoporosis prevention and reversal through resistance and impact training.

Nick has worked with a wide range of people, from athletes and firefighters to adults with osteopenia and osteoporosis, helping them rebuild strength, confidence, and trust in their bodies. He stays on top of the latest research in exercise science to ensure his clients receive safe, effective, and evidence-based training.

His philosophy is simple: every workout should leave you feeling better than when you started. By combining his academic background with practical coaching, Nick empowers clients to build strong bones, resilient bodies, and a life without limits.
