When it comes time to leave our winter dens, will we choose to embrace the shadow we find or will we be afraid of what we see and hide from it, allowing winter to linger within us?Join the Temple of Witchcraft as we acknowledge the harsh realities of winter and turn our faces to the gentle light of spring.
Please join us for our in-person Ostara Ritual and Celebration. Please feel free to dress in your witchy-finest! Ritual robes, cloaks, hats, are all welcome and encouraged! "Basic black" is suggested for those who prefer to dress casually.
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get settled so we can begin promptly. $20 – $50 sliding scale donation to register. Register here: https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/ev/reg/f6ytdu8
After Ritual Potluck Feast!
The Cancer Ministry invites you to join us for our after ritual potluck feast!
If you are so inclined, please bring an item to share. We request that you bring a card with all ingredient information on it due to food allergies and sensitivities within our community. If you would like some ideas, you can consider bringing an item to share based on the first letter of your last name from the list below:
• A-E: Sweet or savory dessert: cookies or pastry (please label if they are gluten free), fresh or dried fruit, chocolate
• F-J: Non-alcoholic Beverages: iced teas, ciders, lemonade - water will be provided
• K-O: Breads and Spreads - cheese and crackers, pita and hummus, chips and salsa
• P-S: Salads or cut up veggies: Leafy green, mixed bean and vegetable or fruit salads
• T-Z: Main Course which could include a protein (either meat or vegetarian) - such as Italian sausage and peppers, Swedish meatballs, or curry with tofu
We also ask that before you leave the hall, you kindly take any leftovers home with you as we don't have a space to store them or a place to donate them to.
The Cancer Ministry will provide all the necessary eating utensils, plates, cups, etc. although we encourage attendees to bring their own reusable eating-wear to minimize waste.
Thank you so much for your generosity and service to our community! If you want more information or if you have any questions, please email Dawn at [email protected]
