OSL is the comprised of several different shooting sports designed to let shooters enjoy IPSC/IDPA style courses of fire in whatever way they see fit.Cost will be $25 total. A $10 online deposit saves your spot for Sunday night. Registration closes Friday at noon prior to Sundays Event. $15 dollars is due to the Cabin Armory and Training Center when you arrive. Please arrive no later than 5 PM, all shooters must be present for a league-specific safety brief that will begin promptly at 5:15 PM. Shooters with questions may arrive early. Spectators with Ear and Eye protection are also welcome and encouraged!
Whether you're looking to get some good practice from a concealed carry standpoint, drawing while defeating a cover garment, utilizing cover, etc. or simply want some good competitive practice to see how fast you can go, OSL has something for you!
We will run three stages. Each course of fire will generally be comprised of six targets (two shots per target) unless otherwise specified. This allows revolvers to be utilized, while shooters using semi-autos will load magazines to six rounds each to force a reload.
SHOOTERS MUST HAVE
- Their own firearm
- Eye and Ear protection
- Minimum of 36 rounds of ammo
- Waiver on file
SHOOTERS SHOULD HAVE
A quality IWB/OWB hard holster for their firearm (NO Serpa)
A minimum of two magazines or speed loaders (for revolvers) and pouches for them
No soft (leather/nylon) holsters will be allowed for safety reasons, however those without a holster (or acceptable holster) may run each stage off of a designated table or starting point.
