Presented by the Oshkosh Area Community BandEnjoy listening to and singing music of the season at the 40th annual Christmas Sing at The Grand in Oshkosh. Madrigal singing groups from Oshkosh Lourdes Academy, under the direction of Kristin Ramseyer; Oshkosh West High School under the direction of Bethany Meyer; and Oshkosh North High School under the direction of Bridget Duffy-Ulrich, will perform. The Oshkosh Area Community Band, under the direction of David Berndt, will lead off the evening’s musical selections.
Each group will perform separately and lead some carol singing. All the groups will combine with the audience for the grand finale of familiar songs of the season including “Silent Night” and “Joy to the World”.
There is no admission charged, but we will collect monetary donations for the Salvation Army. The Oshkosh community benefits from the Salvation Army who provide social services including food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children.
