Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service & Pie Fest 🦃🍂🥧

Location: Our Savior Lutheran Church ⛪
Join us for a meaningful Thanksgiving Eve service from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, followed by a “Pie Fest” fellowship from 8:00 to 9:00 PM! This special evening of worship and fellowship is a wonderful opportunity to pause and reflect on our blessings, give thanks, and connect with one another.
Worship Service (7:00 - 8:00 PM) 🙌 🙏 📜
The evening begins with a service grounded in spoken liturgy and enriched with traditional hymns including “Oh, That I Had a Thousand Voices,” “Take My Life and Let It Be,” and “Praise God, From Whom All Blessings Flow.” The service will offer:
- Confession & Absolution: A moment of reflection and renewal.
- Children’s Message: Engaging teaching for young ones.
- Sermon: Reflecting on gratitude and God’s blessings in our lives.
- Special Music & Handbells: Inspiring music to deepen our worship.
- Prayers & Readings: With selected readings from Psalm 103, Philippians 1:3-6, and Luke 22:17-20.
- Holy Communion: Celebrating the sacrament together in faith.
Pie Fest Fellowship (8:00 - 9:00 PM) 🥧 ☕ 👨👩👧👦
Following the service, stay with us for our Pie Fest! Bring a pie or another baked good to share as we gather for a time of fellowship and discussion. If you're not able to bring something we would love for you to stay anyways and share what was brought and the fellowship of fellow Christians. This casual gathering offers a warm and welcoming space to connect with one another and celebrate the holiday season with friends new and old.
