INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE

• The online aspect of the course starts on Monday 22nd July 2024 with a 2-week online programme with a fully resourced e-workbook, followed by 1 week (5 days) of face-to-face training.
• During the online phase of the course, you will have access to support via email, and all work submitted by the end of the 2 week period will be marked and feedback supplied.

This element of the course can be accessed without being in the UK.

• The face-to-face training starts on Monday 5th August 2024 (9am – 5pm). This training involves teaching, revision and feedback of all practical skills with a maximum educator: learner ratio of 1:4.
• There will be a mock OSCE at the end of the week and personalised, detailed feedback will be sent to each candidate the following working day via e-mail
• The Face-to-Face training will be held at Telford College, Haybridge Road, Wellington, Telford, Shropshire, TF1 2NP.
• The cost for the course is £850 +Associated Fees and this includes all course materials.
• Cancellation Policy: If cancelled between 30-15 days of the course start date – Full refund, 14-8 days – 50% refund, 7-0 days – No refund.

PLEASE NOTE

• This course is suitable for internationally qualified nurses, nurses returning to practice, HCA conversion (for those who hold an overseas nursing qualification).
• Although this course is being facilitated by Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust, this is a self-funded OSCE Preparation course.
• Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust will not cover the cost of the OSCE exam or any accommodation/transport costs.
• Shrewsbury and Telford NHS trust are unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship or a position of employment within the Trust on completion of the course.
• You will be responsible for booking and paying for your OSCE exam and completing your NMC Nursing registration process.
