Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists, PC is partnering with MK Jetting and Televising to put on the 2025 ORS Oktoberfest 10k / 5K, Kids Superhero Run. With all of the positive feedback not only on the location but the courses we are staying at Consumer's Plaza in 2025.
The courses will take participants along the City of Jackson, Parks and Recreation Trail System and will finish at Consumer’s Energy 1 Energy Plaza. The kids Superhero Run is a fan favorite where costumes are encouraged. Children 10 and under will join adult superhero’s (Superhero’s Unite) for a fun run, will a villain be found?
All Oktoberfest participants will receive post-race re-fueling ON-SITE by TBD!!
Pricing: Special New Years Day pricing $20 valid 1/1 to 1/15. Then $35 until 9/21, then $40. Friends/Family discount $5/person when registering 3 or more people at the same time starts 1/16.
Overall Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers of Open (all ages), and Master (40+), Senior Master (60+) in the 5k Run, and 5k Walk.
Age Groups Awards to the top 3 places in each age group:
5k Run age groups: 0-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69. 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
5k Walk age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Early Packet Pick-Up will be Friday October 3rd 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Grand River Brewery in the Barrel Room, who is also planning an awesome ORS Oktoberfest Menu that night for our race participants!!!!! Come pick up your race bib and goodies, stick around for live music and pre-race fueling specials offered by Grand River Brewery!!! Start the Oktoberfest festivities early. This event is sponsored by Miller Warehousing Services, Inc!
Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be from 7:30 am - 8:45 am at Consumer's Energy Headquarters. 1 Energy Plaza. All pre and post-race events will take place on the Plaza in front of the old post office, now Consumer's Energy Headquarters.
Please note there are no dogs permitted at this event. Service dogs excluded. Please see the full policy under Race Info. This is for the safety of both our participants and your dogs. Thank you.
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
Race Swag!
Participants in the 10k run, 5k run, and 5k walk receive a t-shirt and finishers medal. Kids run participants receive a gift bag with goodies and a finisher medal keychain.
