Orpheus Rising: Summer Intensive

Join us this summer for Orpheus Rising, performing arts intensive for young performers aged 7–16, led by the professional team at Orpheus Theatre Arts and held at the prestigious facilities of Elmhurst Ballet School.

This immersive programme is designed to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills in a nurturing and professional environment.

Across the three days, students will take part in a dynamic programme of training in acting, singing, and dance, exploring musical theatre repertoire, movement, and script work. Led by experienced industry professionals, sessions focus on developing strong technique, building stage presence, and working collaboratively as part of a company.

A key highlight of the intensive is our dedicated Industry Experience Day, where students will work with a guest practitioner from the performing arts industry. This offers a valuable insight into professional rehearsal processes, helping students develop their ability to take direction, refine their performance, and understand the expectations of working at a professional level.

Throughout the intensive, students will create and develop performance material, culminating in a final sharing of work for family and friends to watch on the final day. This informal performance provides an opportunity to share their work and celebrate their progress.

Orpheus Rising is open to both current Orpheus students and external performers, and is suitable for all experience levels. Whether new to performing arts or already experienced, students will be supported and challenged within a welcoming and inclusive environment.
