Orpheus isn’t the most devoted of husbands. So when his young wife Eurydice runs off with a strange man who turns out to be a great god in disguise (Pluto, King of Hades no less), Orpheus isn’t too bothered. Sadly for him, his mother is. She’s very bothered. She insists that they catch the very next hot-air balloon to Hell and set off together to win his wife back. If only those poor unsuspecting Gods of the Underworld knew what was about to hit them …Last performed at the Concordia in a celebrated production forty years ago, this new saucy laugh-a-minute updated version promises to be a show not to be missed.
