Grammy-Award winning Orpheus Chamber Orchestra joins forces with pianist Marc-André Hamelin, who The New York Times called "a performer of near-superhuman technical prowess." Together they will perform arrangements for Piano and Orchestra including Liszt's Wanderer Fantasy and Shubert's Chamber Symphony in B-flat Major (after D. 960).
Renowned for their collaborative spirit, the Grammy-Award winning Orpheus Chamber Orchestra has played without a conductor since their inception, performing with "edge-of-the-seat intensity" and displaying an "infectious love for making music" (The New York Times) for audiences around the world.
Presented in partnership with the Sunderman Conservatory of Music, funded in part by the Sunderman Chamber Music Foundation.
