Oroville Hmong New Year Volleyball 2024-2025Hello everyone, WE’RE BACK!!!! It is that time of the year again. Come out, have fun, and enjoy everyone’s company; do what we all enjoy doing, play some volleyball. Sign up your team!!! For the convenience of a better tournament we will be doing ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY! 🚫 no walk in sign ups. 🚫
$100 REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT
❌❌Fighting results in disqualification and loss of security deposit.❌❌
$100 registration fee: 60% will go towards 1st place and 40% goes to 2nd place.
Please state team name and designated captain.

Men’s and Women’s
1st place: $500 + 60% of reg fee
2nd place: $300 + 40% of reg fee
Rules:
Old School/Hmong Rules.
- Minimum of 4 players on court at all times. **2 non-Asian allowed on court at a time.
- One hand receives on serves has to go over.
- No sets on receives on serves and attacks. Setting on a dink ball is fine.
- No crossing or stepping over middle line.
- Setter (back row) can knuckle ball over, but one foot has to remain on the ground. No open hand tip (back row).
- Sets have to be clean or have minimal spin.
- No libero.
- Jerseys not required.
- Other rules will be announced before games begin.
RESPECT REFEREE CALLS❕
- reffing will be determined by how the tournament is run.
Live drawing Sunday, October 6th.
‼️‼️this is a two day event for Saturday & Sunday. Please arrive for check in at 8:30 AM to complete waivers and roster forms. 9:00 AM roll call. First games begin at 9:30 AM. We will have a 5 minute warm up, if team is not present after 5 minutes will be given a loss for first set.
