About this Event
We are excited to have you join your fellow students at the Orillia campus for our Academic Orientation events.
This day is an opportunity to meet your fellow students, learn more about your specific program and what to expect starting week 1 of classes, connect with support services on campus, and meet your GCSA and other student groups. Enjoy a pizza lunch, light refreshments, and pick up your welcome swag!
Schedule for the day
9 to 9:30 a.m. Registration (cafeteria)
9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Welcome and College 101 Scenarios (gymnasium)
10:45 to noon (12 p.m.) Academic Breakout Session (classrooms)
noon (12 p.m.) to 1 p.m. Lunch
Drop-in Activities
All of the below activities start at 1 p.m. and go until around 3 p.m.
- Growler's Market in the gymnasium
- Clubs Fair in the Grotto
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will also be:
- Registration Drop-in Centre in the Library
