The Origin
The Origino Ghetto Burger Festival is a new fest that was founded upon the principle of making a homemade burger with flavor on Chef Scott Food Trucks in New Orleans in 2013. While on the Parade Route, Chef Scott developed a name that was catchy and a flavor that was unique. It grabbed everyones attention and they asked, "What is a Ghetto Burger," and Chef Scott responded, "It's a 12oz Homemade Burger Patty mixed with Ghetto Burger Season, Grilled on Soft French Bread with Rebirth Creole BBQ Sauce!" Ever since, it has become a New Orleans staple at fairs, festivals, night life and corporate events both local and abroad. So now after selling nearly 100,000 homemade Origino Ghetto Burgers, Chef Scott started to plan a festival where they could be shared with the community and invite other Small Business vendors to share their style of Burger. Just remember there is only one Origino Ghetto Burger, Ya Heard Me!
