The next in-person OAN meeting will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Opportunity Center located at 1445 Dayton Street.The meeting will focus on the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) ballot initiative voters passed during the last municipal election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. It was made clear that voters are eager to increase the quality of life for those who live along the corridor. Finally, the DDA will provide Original Aurora an opportunity to reinvent East Colfax and benefit the beautifully diverse community that already exists there.
OAN has invited the following DDA stakeholders to attend and present at the January 10 community meeting:

Gianina Horton, Ward 1 City Councilmember
Johnny Watson, Aurora Urban Renewal Authority
