After a Summer break, Original Aurora Neighbors (OAN) is back and we have a lot to share with our neighbors! The next RNO meeting will be a big one as Progressive Urban Management Associates (PUMA) will be joining to provide an update on the process and timeline for establishing a Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for the East Colfax corridor. An area roughly between Yosemite, Peoria, 14th ave., and 16th ave.While Aurora City Council recently voted unanimously to approve the formation of a DDA, it is now up to the Original Aurora community to get the DDA across the finish line. It is vital the community come together to build broad support and convince property owners and tenants who reside within the designated zone to vote in favor of the DDA during a special election taking place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
