World premiere of a unique new deep listening art installation inviting audiences to lay down and be bathed in sound and light. Created by a team of internationally-acclaimed artists, each cycle of the experience reveals what is hidden at its core. Origin is a durational sound and light installation at the cross-over between art and wellness, created by artists Stephen Dobbie and Colin Nightingale, both key members of the Punchdrunk creative team since 2002.
Born out of a desire to create a calming space to allow audiences to slow down and disconnect from the everyday, this mesmeric audio world explores themes around the cycle of life and our human connection with nature.
Presented over World Heart Beat’s cutting edge d&b Soundscape system, this spatialised original soundtrack contains elements of sound design generated utilising Bronze, an animative music composition tool.
