Learn to make easy origami animals and other objects, many from recycled materials. Kazuko will open your eyes to a whole world of folding household rubbish into fantastic creations! Please bring craft scissors if you have some and be prepared to have lots of laughs.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki Memorial Day is held in the first week of August and we will make cranes that can be left at the Peace Bell in the Christchurch Botanical Gardens.
Kazuko is an accomplished Japanese musician and teaches many aspects of Japanese culture. This class is suitable for adults and curious kids from six years plus, but younger ones need active help from a parent or caregiver. Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult.
