Cancellation Policy:
Bankstown Arts Centre cannot accept responsibility for changes to students’ personal circumstances that prevent attendance. Fees are non-refundable and there are no transfers or refunds if you miss a class.
If classes are cancelled due to COVID restrictions, students will receive a refund for the remaining classes in the term.
Film/Photography:
Bankstown Arts Centre regularly reproduces photographs/video footage of people in its publications, promotional, marketing material and on its website, in order to promote the organisation or for educational purposes.
Bankstown Arts Centre would like to be able to use and reproduce one or more photographs/video footage of you, or taken by you, for this purpose and is seeking your consent to do so. A photo consent form will be either emailed to you or be given to you in person. Please contact us on 9707 5400 if you do no wish to have your child's image used for promotional purposes at Bankstown Arts Centre.
Student Conduct
Students attending classes will follow the rules of the Centre and the instructions of the teacher or other staff.
Students will not interfere with the work of others and will not behave in ways that present risks to the safety of themselves or others.
Students who present a risk to others or themselves through repeated inappropriate behaviour may be refused enrolment.
If children do not follow the rules or repeated requests from teachers or other staff to behave in an appropriate manner, parents will be contacted to collect their child from the Centre.
Refunds
Fees are non-refundable, and there are no transfers or refunds if you miss the workshop.
Public Transport
Bankstown Arts Centre is within five minutes walking distance from Bankstown Train Station and Bus Interchange! It is by far the easiest and most advisable way to get to the Arts Centre. We recommend that you plan your trip in advance if taking public transportation. Visit for information on train and bus schedules.
Parking at the precinct
Parking is very limited at the precinct. Participants are suggested to use public transport wherever possible. Limited free parking and disabled parking is available at the community carpark around Bankstown.
