Feeling Not Found, the third full-length album from Washington, D.C. duo Origami Angel, defines a moment and sound within the punk and emo communities. Vocalist/guitarist Ryland Heagy and drummer Pat Doherty, who started the band in 2016, created this 14-track epic with producer Will Yip at Studio 4 Recording.
The album explores a sensation of being lost in digital information, reflecting Heagy’s view of America as a “digital silicon hellscape.” Heagy explains that the album represents his and the band’s emotional journey over three years, culminating in a mix of easycore, metalcore, indie rock, emo, and electronic genres that showcase their unrestrained creativity.
