About this Event
This workshop will connect local organic food producers in Arizona with market opportunities at AZ Wilderness Brewing Co., a restaurant committed to sourcing locally grown ingredients and protecting our natural resources. Attendees will hear directly from the AZ Wilderness team about their approach to local procurement and gain insights on how to successfully market and sell organic products to restaurants.
We’re also hosting this event as a celebration to show appreciation for the local farmers and ranchers participating in the Arizona Transition to Organic Partnership Program (AZ TOPP). Led by the ASU Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems, this program is supporting food producers across Arizona in transitioning to organic with mentorship, technical assistance, workforce development, and community building.
Dinner is included. We hope to see you there!
This event is hosted by the ASU Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems and supported by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Transition to Organic Partnership Program. TOPP is a nationwide program of the USDA Organic Transition Initiative and is administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP).
