Join us Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 3-5PM for the opening reception of Organic Forms featuring 2D and 3D prints by Abiam Alvarez, Lauren Kussro, Kristen Martincic, Kathryn Polk, Hannah Skoonberg, Amy Torgeson, and Katherine Warinner. Traditionally, printmaking is a process where ink is applied to a 3D substrate such as a carved woodblock or an etched metal plate and sent through a printing press where the image is transferred to a sheet of paper. Each of these artists reimagines this traditional 2D process through their unique and unexpected use of materials and subject matter.
Meet the artists, mingle with fellow art lovers and enjoy light refreshments. This event is FREE and open to the public.
Organic Forms will be on view Saturday, May 11, - Saturday, June 15, 2024.
