Learn how to make beautiful, organic, coiled baskets from natural and recycled materials - rope, textiles and found materials. This technique is suitable for all skill levels, and is based on traditional methods. This type of weaving is relaxing and can be used to create many different types of vessels.
You can design your own colour theme - natural and subtle, graduated colour, or bright and bold, and embellish with goodies from Sally's collection of bits and pieces. If you have any oddments, broken jewellery, seaglass, shells or curios you'd like to include, do bring them along!
Sally Moroney is a beachcomber and an artist, working from a rainforest studio near the sea in Mission Beach. Her work reflects her love of nature and passion for the environment.
