Please mark your calendars for a special concert highlighting the tonal versatility of thisbeautiful instrument. We are fortunate to have Dr. David von Behren, Assistant University
Organist & Choirmaster of The Memorial Church, Harvard University as our guest artist. He is a
multi-gifted musician, holding a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Boston University’s College
of Fine Arts, a Master of Music degree from Yale University’s School of Music/Institute of
Sacred Music and a Bachelor of Music in organ performance and music theory (double degree)
from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
The program will include works of Bach, Buxtehude, Couperin, Fauré, Hovhaness, Mendelssohn,
Rutter and Shearing.
The concert is free and open to the public. A reception to follow.
