Organ Academy Recital

The American Guild of Organists – Spokane Chapter presents its “Organ Academy Recital.” Each winter, the chapter offers low-cost organ lessons to students aged 10-20 through its Organ Academy. The 12-week program culminates in a public performance by the young musicians highlighting their accomplishments on Central Lutheran’s Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ.

This year’s 14 talented students are Marybeth Biehl, Gregory Buck, Lincoln DeJong, Luke Fanning, Joseph Gaunt, Lucia Harder, Joel Korn, Gianna Olson, Johnny Ritchie, Faustina Sattler, Scarlett Thomsen, Maria Truong, and Mary Jean Vigil. They are instructed by Janet Ahrend, DMA; Henry Bauer, DMA; Edward Hurd, and Joseph Schubert, PhD.
