We look forward to welcoming you to playgroup for term 1 on Monday😊We just wanted to let you know more about the playgroup in case you would like to join us. We’ve listed below some details about the group, but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact [email protected]
• Sessions are held on Mondays from 9.30-11.30am (term time
only)
• We’re at the Salvation Army Center, 32 Greenview Lane, Red
Beach
• Parking is available at the front of the building close to the
entrance
• There’s no need to book in advance, just drop-in when it’s
convenient
• Playgroup gives the children a chance to have free play in a
safe, comfortable and welcoming space
• We have different toys out each session and a craft activity to
suit all ages
• You must stay and supervise your child/ren during each session.
• The suggested donation per family is $4.00 for each session.
This helps pay for any supplies not funded by the Ministry of
Education. We also have concession cards available that you
can purchase.
• The playgroup is suitable for babies and children 0-5 years.
• We are not open during school or public holidays. We will
update this group and the Hibiscus Coast Plunket Facebook
page with any closures
• Introduce yourself to Emily, the playgroup coordinator if you’re
new to playgroup. Emily will give you a warm welcome and
help with questions you may have
• For the safety of everyone attending playgroup, we follow
health and safety polices and procedures issued by the Ministry
of Education and Plunket. You will be asked to participate in
emergency evacuation drills once a term
• We encourage parents/caregivers to help us pack up toys and
equipment at the end of each session. It’s not essential but we
do appreciate your help.
• Please do not attend playgroup if your child is sick or unwell
